These terms govern your use of Katwars. By visiting the site or uploading a kitten, you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Katwars. By uploading a kitten you confirm you are 13 or older and that you have the right to share the image you are uploading (you own the photo, or you have permission from the photographer).
2. Acceptable content
- Photos of real cats only.
- No nudity, sexual content, violence, gore, hate symbols, or deceptive content (e.g. a dog labelled as a cat).
- No images that include identifying information about a person (faces, addresses, license plates) without that person’s consent.
- No copyrighted images that you do not own or have permission to share. See the DMCA page for takedown procedure.
3. Moderation
We run an automated NSFW classifier on every upload. We also accept reports from other users. A kitten that receives enough reports from independent sources is automatically hidden pending review. We may remove any kitten at our discretion. If your kitten is hidden in error, contact the address below.
4. Voting and rate limits
Votes are advisory. The ratings, ranks, achievements, and leaderboard standings are calculated from votes and shown for entertainment. We may rate-limit, pace, or reject votes that appear to be automated.
5. No warranty
The site is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that rankings reflect any objective truth about cat cuteness.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator’s liability for any claim arising out of your use of the site is capped at the amount you have paid us (which is zero — the site is free).
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
